Qualifier Application will be available on July 2nd, 2012 following the tournament application deadline

An 18-hole qualifying tournament for the 2012 Stan Trojanowski Northern Junior Boys Championship will be held on Monday, July 16th at Simsbury Farms Golf Course in Simsbury, Connecticut. The qualifier is open to the first 90 applicants. All applicants will be accepted on a strictly first-come, first-serve basis.

Format: All qualifier participants will play 18 holes of stroke play. Tee times will begin at 8:00am off the #1 and #10 tees. The low 10 finishers in the qualifier will be extended an invitation to compete in the 2012 Northern Junior on July 24th - 25th. Any ties for the last spot will be determined by a sudden death playoff immediately following play.

Application: The application for the 2012 qualifier will be made available on July 2nd, following the announcement of the official tournament field. The application will be available online and for print at that time. Any male amateur junior golfer under the age of 19 who has not entered their first year of college is eligible to apply. All applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Entry Fee: The entry fee for the Northern Junior qualifier will be $60.00, which will include 1 tournament round and lunch following play. Players who successfully qualify for the Northern Junior will have their qualifier entry fee applied toward their tournament entry fee.

Rules of Play: The 2012 USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions will govern all play.
